What We Collect

TabsVault collects and stores the following information locally on your device only:

• Tab URLs and titles when you save a session
• Session names and categories you create
• Extension settings and preferences
• License key (for Pro users)

Important: None of this data leaves your device unless you explicitly use the export feature or enable Chrome Sync (Pro feature).

What We Don't Collect

We do NOT collect:

• Personal information (name, email, etc.)
• Browsing history beyond saved sessions
• Analytics or usage data
• Cookies or tracking information
• Any data without your explicit action

Data Storage

All data is stored using Chrome's local storage API, which keeps your information on your device. For Pro users who enable sync, data is encrypted and synced through your Google account using Chrome's built-in sync feature.

Third-Party Services

TabsVault does not use any third-party services, analytics tools, or external APIs. The extension operates entirely within your browser.

Permissions

TabsVault requires these permissions:

• Tabs: To read tab information when saving sessions
• Storage: To save your sessions locally
• Downloads: To export your sessions (Pro feature)

We only use these permissions for the stated purposes.

Data Security

Your data security is ensured by Chrome's sandboxed environment. Since we don't transmit data to external servers, there's no risk of data breaches from our side.

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete any saved session at any time
• Export all your data
• Uninstall the extension to remove all stored data
• Disable sync at any time (Pro users)

Children's Privacy

TabsVault is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "last updated" date.
